  Avoid this bank, lousy service. I went to change the phone number on my account. They made me wait a long time and there was no one in line. When they finally attended me, I was amazed because it was the first time that a bank asked me to leave there to make copies of the documents that they should make copies of. In Quito I have done very well with the services of this bank, in Latacunga, it is terrible. Seriously, you better close the branch if you are going to be so unprofessional.

  The machine that makes paper money into coins (essential in Ecuador if you are traveling on a tight budget) gave me nickels, dimes, quarters, and five silver dollars. That's a lot of coins if you make the mistake of putting in a $20. Inside the following day though the service was great and made reasonable change.
