  Highly recommend this hotel in Mindo. The rooms were so cute and affordable. Breakfast was solid and the hammocks attached to the cabins are a fun addition. I was pleasantly surprised by how great this place was!

  Wonderful staff and extensive gardens of bromiliads and orchids! Hummingbirds too! Cabin rooms clean and neat and commodious. Nice hot showers!

  I toured the orchid garden with the lovely owner and garden-keeper and very much enjoyed seeing the diversity of sizes, colors, and species of orchids that are native to Ecuador, which I believe numbers over 4,000 species in this small country alone! I did not stay at their lodge so I didn't include a rating of it, though it did look comfortable and was centrally located in a quiet part of town close to activities and restaurants.
