CORRUPTION, OPPORTUNISTIC THIEVES !! It is the least I can say about this clinic, with great indignation I see how in times of a pandemic they take advantage of to extract money from patients who come from the SOCIAL SECURITY (IESS) with the excuse of using equipment (a scissors and a clamp ) to change postoperative wound gauze, request new X-rays or electrocardiograms because supposedly the first tests are not clear, saying that they are not covered by social security and charge for it. I am going to make it clear to you, once a patient from the IESS is referred to a private clinic how is the case, all the expenses that this individual generates for care, tests, analytics, rays and everything related to the disease or condition treated during and then they are paid by the patient's social security, because this person, whether active or retired, is paying the state to receive decent care at the time they need it, in no case should they give money and even less without proof of payment, where appropriate an Invoice to "request a refund to the IESS, that is, proof of said payment." He asked why they charge money in hand without their respective invoice? They know that this is illegal, they are defrauding the state since it is not an undeclared money? Why do they charge my mother after an operation the visits for her revision and cures an exorbitant amount? Perhaps she has not contributed for many years to have the right to public health. Perhaps CLÍNICA SANTA ANA, does not pass and collects each of the services provided to patients referred by the S.S. I demand responsibility and explanation of these abusive charges by the doctors, nurses and cashier staff. I ask to speak with the director of said clinic and give me his version of this monetary modality with the pensioners and affiliates. It is not an isolated case, there are many more. If you are reading this and are affected by these abuses, comment on your case to end this hospital corruption by private companies with agreements with the Ecuadorian social security. On the other hand, I hope they stop profiting from patients and from management put a brake on those who are doing it.

No handwashing from the nurses going from room to room. No gloves anywhere including placing IV. No alcohol swabs when plugging in IV. No attention to parents needs (if you want a coffee, you need to leave your kid apparently). Served scalding milk and undercooked egg to my 3 year old. No vitals taken on my child all night in distress. Oxygen order never carried out. Tylenol given without checking temp first. Highly motivated by getting as much they can from your insured wallet. The building looks really nice on the outside but this was an absolute train wreck.
