  The dirty beach. The establishment lacks maintenance. Unkempt bathrooms. Ripped and stained dirty towels. Poor food for the price they charge. Nothing recommendable. Too expensive for the service they offer.

  Very bad experience. The waitress was quite rude and seemed bothered that she needed to do her job. The music was deafeningly loud which just doesn't suit a relaxing beach restaurant. No vegetarian options whatsoever. When we asked them for regular scrambled eggs they still served us eegs with ham. Upon telling them we wouldn't eat it they started to take out the pieces of meat. (I'm not forcing my views on anyone but if Im clear about my wishes and I'm a paying customer I expect better) In the end we still got a small bowl of fruit for which we had to pay $5 - about five times more than anywhere else on the island. I was surprised that they could be as rude as they where to their customers while experiencing an economic crisis... They offer to stay for the day and use their utilities but as their own part of the beach was covered with plastic litter we left without hesitation.

  Nice place - Great potential. Could be much cleaner. We went to El Faro. Lovely bungalows to rent, nice pool, lovely atmosphere. The owners should clean up the beach area. It is very dirty. There is dog poop on the volley ball court. We had to clean up poop before we could play. There is trash all over the beach in front of the property. This is a shame because it is such a nice place, just too expensive for the bungalows and too dirty to enjoy the beach. I would suggest that the owners please clean that beach up, get all of the dog poop off the play areas, and lower the prices for the rooms.$85 per night, per person is too expensive for what is there. We would love to come back, but not to have to clean up dog poop before we can enjoy the place.
