  Receptionist is really friendly, speaks perfect English and accommodated an earlier breakfast. Porters were very quick to help carry bags and fetch extra things. I also appreciated having lots of hanging space to dry clothes in the bathroom.

  The staff is excellent as was the location for what we needed. Rooms are a little small but that was to be expected. Breakfast in the morning of fruit eggs and bread was very good.

  Lovely hotel in Quito! We stayed as part of a tour group and were very impressed. I took a hot shower, breakfast was cereal, fruit, bread, and coffee. Purified water was available at all times for guests in the lobby. This place has everything we needed.

  The hotel is off a main road so it's loud, but earplugs can solve that. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. They have nice rooms in a gorgeous old building that is well kept inside. They offer a basic breakfast with fruit and bread, including coffee. This best part is that the hotel offers a fresh water filling station, quick wifi, and a bar in the hotel. I would stay here again.

  I stayed in both a single and double room, and it was great. Wifi was a bit unreliable, but really can’t complain. Breakfast was delicious. Comfortable and worth the affordable nightly rate. The service is warm and attentive as well - whoever was at reception always answered my questions patiently and with a smile. I recommend a stay here if you’re travelling to Quito for the first time. The beautiful Victorian-era decor is also a bonus!
