  Luxury hotel with interesting history as the home of leaders of Ecuador. Rooms are large and well appointed with fireplaces that are lit every evening. Rooms also have many interesting antiques. Gardens are spectacular. Service highly professional. Many comfortable places to relax include lounge with a fire always lit in the fireplace, bar, library, study, and other public rooms.

  A really cozy place which combines nature and history; in fact, it’s 400 years old!!! You can enjoy walking around and exploring the corners of the estate as well as relaxing surrounded by trees and mountains.

  Compliments to the chef, fabulous and friendly service. The place is beautiful. It is hotel and a restaurant, the gardens are magnificent. Just a place to be if you want to relax.

  A place like I have never stayed. I stopped hear during a motorcycle tour. The grounds are amazing. Giant gardens and so much room to roam. Warm hot water bottle in my bed was unexpected but appreciated after a long ride in the rain.
