::Great boutique hotel in old town Quito! Excellent & helpful staff/service. Great breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again!

::Extremely lovely stay here. The staff were wonderfully helpful with several questions I had that were well beyond normal concierge-type requests (e.g. about being invited to dinner at someone’s home). The rooms are really well decorated, the views are breathtaking, it’s two blocks from the things, and the building is just ridiculous. Standouts for me were the Picasso sketches and the 300 year old ceiling (pictured). Pro tip: ask for a tour. My only negative was that the free coffee with breakfast was a little burnt. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

::My family and I can't say enough about the opulent Casa San Marcos hotel. A former palace, there are so many artifacts and dedicated rooms that is seems as if you're staying in a museum. The rooms are wonderfully appointed, the breakfast on the terrace is magical - but what really stands out is the attentiveness, the courteousness, and the thoughtfulness of the staff, starting with Augusto, the general manager, and including Santiago, Rosa, and Clara. When one of my daughters got sick, they sent up chicken noodle soup and made sure she had hot tea at all times - all of this on their own. We were treated like family - and our stay at Casa San Marcos truly was memorable. Future trips to Quito always will include this precious boutique hotel with its wonderful staff!

::Went here a couple of years ago and it was great. There were some Picaso sketches, cool furniture and other artistic tidbits. Breakfast was also great.
