::The weekend i stayed at this hotel was an ordinary one, no holiday or anything special and we payed in Ambato which is a very "basic" city what you would pay in Quito for a 5 star hotel. The hotel is old and has absolutely nothing to offer. The rooms have basic furniture, old carpets, outdated showers, no hair dryer, no mini bar, a very small TV and the beds seem very flimsy. We checked in during the afternoon and came back to sleep at midnight, we asked for some bottled water and they said they didn't have any becuase the kitchen was closed! Breakfast was good but overall it is way too expensive for what it offers.
