  Rafael was very helpful and super nice. He made sure we had everything we needed and made our stay wonderful. Definitely recommend this place, especially for the price you pay for and the service you get.

  We got there really early and they let us check in and go to sleep which was amazing! Checkout is also not till midday which is great. Breakfast is included and really nice, the rooms are really well finished, air con works well, cable TV is nice too and it's a 10 min walk to the airport. Perfect place to stay before or after a flight. Also had this really great painting in the room:

  Very simple, but recommendable hotel. Staff is very kind. Rooms offer all that is needed, including free towels. The showers aren't always hot, but that didn't bother me. The owner of the hostel drove me to the bus station after my stay for free, which was very generous. On my second stay, I was stuck in Guayaquil for the night and I got in touch with the owner to see if they had any rooms available at a short notice, which they did. If you are ever in this situation and would like to stay somewhere close to the airport and bus station, Hostal Murali is a very good option.
