::A good experience, nice room, neat, nice food for breakfast and great location. It does have elevator, garage and pool, which I was not able to visit because of the short period of time I spent there. If you are the kind of people who use warm/hot water to take a shower, please tell the receptionist since the beginning. Not a 5 stars for me because of the price, it's expensive for the accommodations you receive, which some other hotels in the area and with lower prices offer you.

::The Hotel is very well located, near the harbour, good restaurants around (taste the delicius 'viche' at the local restaurant 2blocks away), near a large shopping center and with easy access to the bus station (15minutes drive). The room is clean and very confortable, with a large bed, good hot shower, strong wifi and view to the ocean. At the hotel's restaurant you can choose a large variety of breakfast, from the traditional local 'triguillo' to more standard western food and healthy (natural) options. Oh, from the restaurant we could watching the harbour and pacific ocean! The staff is super helpful, they speak good English and helped me to solve some personal issues. Clean service came everyday. I could park my car in a safe closed parking lot, at the hotel. If you are planning to visit Manta for a beach trip or for a business metting, i strongly recommend Perla Spondylus!

::Nice hotel but without extras. We got 2 rooms, 1 of them had not hot water. Also, coincidence but Saturday around 930am started with construction jobs in the building, so if you had plans to sleep late forget it!

::Lived there for almost 8 months, it's clean and very well kept. The staff is great! Internet connection is -ok-, not great. Breakfast is very good, and every room has a/c. The hotel will run out of some goods from time to time, on "basic" items such as a soft drink, beer, or even rice (happened to me once), but I've come to learn that this is very common in Ecuador (Quito included). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
