  Great place to get away from it all. Though a bit far from town. Great staff!

  This place has the most breathtaking view and serene atmosphere. The rooms are cosy and it's nice to sip on something hot at the restaurant/house. The room can be heated with a fire oven but be careful not to go too far with adding in more wood or you will be sweating before you know it. This place can be reached easily from town and from here you can continue up to hike Lagos de Mojanda.

  After shopping in the famous Otavalo market where we found some amazing Tiguas by the artist, Julio Toaquiza, we returned to the always fantastic La Luna. Tucked away in our cozy room with a fire we slept peacefully. In the morning we awoke to fantastic views of Imbabura and Cayambe Volcanoes. We had an amazing breakfast and hiked to a waterfall. We had an phenomenal time at La Luna and will definitely be back.
