  Animal rights activists shut this down, because... you know. Culture and tradition are less important than the life of an animal. Its ok to kill them for meat, leather, etc - but God forbid people actually make a bit more money by making that into entertainment.

  I only came once and was very entertained by the bull fighting. Quito the event when they host it one month a year.
