  I almost hate to rate it because it's one of my favorite hideaways and am jealously protective of it. Never stayed at hotel but I suspect it is top knotch. The service is impecable and the food and drinks excellent. My favorite aspect is the ambience.First off the street, you'll find a quaint coffeeshop with outstanding breads and pastries.Further in you'll enter a warm dining room that additionally still offers the famous Ecuadorian low-cost "almuerzos". Drive deeper into the building passing through the hotel area and you'll come to the final surprise: a garden courtyard complete with birds singing and a fireplace.

  This hotel is beautiful and the staff is spectacular. I would recommend this hotel and it's restaurant without hesitation.

  Let me just say, I have never been to a hotel this beautiful. I was a little worried at first because it looks small, but by God, this place is so amazing. Please come here if you are in Cuenca.
