::Exceptional and outstanding! You will NOT regret staying here. Clean, warm/friendly/bilingual staff on site. Beautiful pool and grounds, breakfast and wifi. This slice of heaven is right on the ocean. Walk along the beach to the authentic local village. Eat seafood caught the same day by fishermen across the street. Kim, Alex, Larry and friends will welcome you with open arms. We may never leave! Canada: sunny, coastal Ecuador is calling!

::This is the not so hidden gem of the San Alejo-San Jacinto beachfront! A beautifully landscaped oasis overseen by Kimberley, the hostess with the mostest. The Cottages include clean, comfortable, air conditioned rooms with queen beds, direct tv, kitchenettes and private bathrooms. A pool and patio are central to the facility surrounded by well maintained tropical plants. A bar is available with local beers, wines, juices, and soda. Breakfast is served mornings with coffee, eggs, fresh fruit, juice, toast and assorted rolls. Transportation is available from the airport in Manta. Buses pass by regularly. This is just a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean with family and friends.

::This place absolute ROCKED! The only thing I would mention is the sheet metal roof, but to be perfectly honest, it posed 0 issue. The air conditioning worked great, the Wifi was functional, the staff went above and beyond for us and the other guests. The place was super clean, and our cottage came with a kitchen (microwave, toaster oven, sink with dish soap, an purified water dispenser which was just a water jug but appreciated nonetheless)! They will be able to communicate in Spanish or English. When we weren't going out on an adventure we were basically bugging the staff to hang out and entertain us. They have a great looking set up with all their plant life and trees. They manage to keep everything very clean. We were very comfortable here and leaving was bittersweet. We felt like we were leaving a little part of our family behind. There are a couple puppies there, but this was a big perk for us. We ended up staying here for 6 days total. 10/10 if we go back to the Manta area, we will be going back to this little gem. Kim (owner): Wonderful woman. Very accommodating and takes her business very seriously. Speaks both English and Spanish. Huge heart and will go out of her way for her staff or her guests. She introduced us to some of her local friends and we had a great night with them while Kim was stuck taking care of the cottages. Wilmer: Ecuadorian gentleman who pretty much only speaks Spanish. If you opt to take advantage of their airport transportation, he will most likely be picking you up. Very good driver and really friendly guy with a very positive vibe. My wife speaks Spanish fluently, so she was able to connect with him more than I was, but I really felt like we were in good hands with him. Louis: Speaks Spanish and English (better than he would admit). This guy became a brother to us before we left. A fantastic person with a big heart. We spent a lot of time with him talking about travelling and family. We ended up talking him into cooking with us and hanging out by the bar / pool area one day. 6 days seemed like too much at first. After staying here I felt like it wasn't enough. Thank you guys for the unforgettable experience!
