::Nice old fashioned hotel. With nice owners. I would compare it to a hostel with individual rooms.

::Not everyone will love it because it's not a typical American-style hotel, but it has tons of character, including very nice common areas. Breakfast was very good. Weird - you had to put your used toilet paper in the garbage vs. the toilet but from talking to other travellers that may be normal for old town Quito - old pipes. Staff was very helpful. Our daughter loved the two resident cats.
