  THIS PLACE IS A MUST STAY IF YOU ARE IN QUITO I started here with my family for for nights, and this place was probably the best hotel experience I've ever had. While I was in Quito I ended up sick, and these people did every single thing they could to be accommodating and beyond. From clinic recommendations to the inn keeper bringing some oranges by because he was worried about my well being, to even one of to the employees of the joint venture restaurant place driving me to the hospital HIMSELF and helping me navigate the hospital process of a country which I am not native to (THANK YOU MIGUEL), this place went above and beyond all of my wants, needs, and expectations. This is a very clean hotel, and a very quiet hotel. It is perfect for people who are trying to authentically explore Quito and gain new experiences from it. Within walking distance of the Y bus, this is very accessible for both public transportation and taxis. Nobody should have any issues getting anywhere around Quito from here. Additionally, this hotel is decorated impeccably with kind of a vintage-chic aesthetic. You will find typewriters and phonographs and wood carvings and all other kinds of very interesting statement pieces artfully placed around to give the space a very homey feel while still looking put together and like a professional hospitality space. I ate the best eggs I've ever had at the Continental breakfast provided by the joint venture restaurant included with the stay. There's a different kind of juice available every day, and the bread is perfectly toasted. Honestly the only thing I can complain about is that they didn't adopt me and let me live there forever. If you ever have the pleasure of being able to stay here, I highly recommend it.

  Relatively nice, helpful staff, but my God, the worst pillows I've ever had in my life, really though, the worst, they need to change them. Price is affordable, but not cheap by ecuatoriana standards.

  the rooms are lovely but being that it's a boutique hotel it's not full service and on our first night there was not water in the entire hotel and neighborhood. They let us know when we returned from our tour around 8pm and we decided to relocate to another hotel as this was too much of an inconvenience for us.
