  Firstly, I arrived late by 2:50 am and guest was still waiting for me by surprise because I reached the check in deadlines. During my 2 weeks stay here at Doral Hotel, room service and restaurant were amazing because I found what ever I needed especially local food and my favorite salad. Transportation is very easy to catch because all day and night taxi are available from time to time. The most important is my safety so I cannot lie I feel home because police and security were present. They always spoil me by asking what I needed and I feel special.   I'm glad I chose to stay at the hotel during my most recent visit to the global catholics convention in Guayaquil! I was a little iffy at first because it was my first time in South America, and as an American that can be quite challenging because of safety and language barriers, but the staff helped me and my wife to explore Guayaquil. Will be returning. Thanks!

  worst place ever! The mattress was as hard as a rock, it was impossible to sleep. In addition the air conditioner made sounds as you have a tractor in your room, the t.v. didn't work and the you barely get water to shower. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I know it's cheap for the location, but it is better to pay a little bit more and stay in at decent place.

  The location is very excellent that is right near the malecon and a couple blocks from nice parks.. staff did speak English mostly..and helped with my questions about where to get things in the area the breakfast was also a welcome relief in the morning and the food was good as well as the service. You could spend more but this has everything that you need for the price ...the air conditioning works great. the water pressure is sufficient. The beds could be softer though.. maid service is efficient also...

  Excellent service with attentive staff, comfortable accommodations. We loved the convenient and hip location- it's in the heart of the city and very close to Malecon. A great value all in all and a delightful place to stay while visiting Guayaquil!
