::Great food and great service. I have been twice and will go again. The sausage, pickle platter was like nothing I have eaten in Ecuador. Quite amazing.

::I am visiting from Florida and I decided to go to this place last night. So far, I had a good experience with the restaurants in Cuenca until I went to this place. After I sat at a table, the waiter came to take my order. I said hello and he gave me a serious unfriendly look. Later, another waiter brings my food and I asked him for ketchup but he never brings it. After I raised my hand to get his attention as he was passing by my table, he looks at me indifferently and walks pass me. Finally I got up my chair and went to the counter and asked a young waitress to bring me some ketchup. Needless to say, I did not leave any tips and I will not go back there again. **** Yo he tenido buena experiencia con los restaurantes en Cuenca hasta que fuera a este sitio. El servicio al cliente es pésimo aquí. Unos de los meseros son groseros. Ellos ni tienen la menor idea de servicio al cliente. Trabajar en una microcerveceria al estilo EEUU no es todo, ni importante LOL. Un mesero en una cafeteria pequeña en el centro histórico tiene más cultura que ellos.

::The name tells the whole story...except it doesn’t. This is a beer hall apparently owned and operated by the eponymous Czech brewery. Cavernous inside, and offering basically four or five different beers on tap of its own production, this place also offers pretty good pub food. I found everything on offer to be of good quality, but neither the beers nor the food amazed me. However, the classic Czech/German beer hall layout inside was a pleasant surprise.

::I ate lunch there five times during my stay in Cuenca. Food is excellent and prices are reasonable. Service is good. Favorite beer is the dark IPA, which compares well to the excellent microbrews in the US.
